Olof and Liam catch their breath with their maps after finishing the race

Teammates Olof Linde and Liam Hagström from Skåneslättens OL catch their breath after finishing and study the courses together. It’s Olof’s first time at O-Ringen, while Liam took part in Oskarshamn last year.

They walked to the start together today but then ran different courses.

How was today’s stage?
– Nice and open, they both say. A bit green in the beginning, but then it opened up – though it was also very hot in the open areas.

Tomorrow, Tuesday, they’re looking forward to getting out into more forested terrain.
– It’s been a while since I ran in the forest, says Liam. So it’ll be fun with some new forest!

They’re both excited for the rest of the week. Olof will run another stage start tomorrow, and Liam is doing all the stages throughout the week.

For now, they’re looking forward to an afternoon swim.
– The campsite is really nice, says Liam. Swimming is what we’ve done the most – it’s been so warm, he adds.
