Folk festival in central Jönköping when the Huskvarnasprinten took place
Many braved the rain to watch the elite take on stage 3
On Tuesday evening, the Husqvarna Sprint took place in central Jönköping. Many braved the rain to watch the elite take on stage 3.
The sprint course was lined with the city's environments with narrow alleys, courtyards and winding passages - which put the orienteers' route choices and technique to the test. The audience got first place to the finish line, accompanied by the announcer from Rådhusparken, where food trucks and family activities also kept the atmosphere going.
Despite the unstable weather, the atmosphere was at its best among the gathered spectators. Several took the opportunity to seek shelter under café umbrellas along the course, while cheering on the participants who gave it their all.
